Written by Mums NI on Wednesday, 12 July 2017 Posted in: It's Christmas

The Mums NI team had an interesting visit with Mr Claus this week and he showed us around his wonderful Toy Workshop (where the Elves work all year long!) and fed us some warm mince pies with cream and a cup of hot chocolate.  We asked him what the Elves have been planning for all the little boys and girls for Christmas 2017 and he gave us a rundown of the top toys he predicts will be on every Christmas Wish List this year.  This year is mostly about electronics for all age groups with the familiar top toy brands making the list, as per usual.

So settle down with a cuppa and get nosying through the list.  Organisation is the key to a smooth Christmas Gift shopping experience.

Okay guys, this doll is a real game changer.  It’s functions are so life like it’s frightening. I wouldn’t say she is the cutest of dolls, but I can see why children will find her cute with her large over sized blue eyes.  She has to be seen to be believed!  Her face and eyes are really expressive, her arms and legs move fluidly as does her head and mouth.  She responds to touch such as tickles and is sensitive to sound, so if she is a room with a lot of noise she will wake up just like a real baby.  Her speech progresses from cute babbling sounds to actual real words - just like a real life baby.  She can ‘eat’, ‘drink’ from her bottle and suck on her dummy with her life like sucking reflex.  Santa tells us that this fully interactive baby doll will be high on the list of many little children this year.
