At home our favourite Christmas movie is Santa Paws.

We have watched it every year since my eldest (almost 11) was 4 and introduced Toby and Eve to it last year when they were 4.  Santa Paws definitely lets us know that its Christmas at the Mcdonald household!!

Last Christmas we watched quite a few of the David Walliams films – Gangsta Granny, Grandpas Great Escape and Billionaire Boy.  Both adults and kids loved these so they were perfect viewing for the whole family on Christmas evenings.

With boy/girl twins and a 5.5 year age gap between them and my eldest it’s sometimes hard to find something to entertain everyone but these are definite winners!

We’ll be looking forward to the Christmas break and lazy PJ mornings!

Here are a few other Festive Family Films, as recommended by the Mums NI Community, to get you in the mood:

  • The Polar Express
  • The Muppets Christmas Carol
  • Angela's Christmas
  • The Grinch
  • Nativity 1, 2 & 3
  • Elf
  • Home Alone

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas,

Kelly

I'll begin with an embarrassing confession; something I usually don't tell other adults. It relates to revealing my favourite film. While I love much of Scorsese's and Tarantino's work, neither has produced a movie that I know so well that each...
