This months Craft Hub will be taken over by colourful Easter Bunny cards. Prior to starting this craft, use a cookie cutter to draw the template of the bunny.
For each child taking part in this project, you will need:
1 paper plate
3 different colours of paint
3 cottonwool balls
1 A5 sheet of card
scrap of paper with bunny drawn on
1 craft jewel
You will also need some PVA glue and a little bit of blu tack.
This is a very simple craft for children of all ages to take part in. Let them use whatever colours they wish to create their masterpiece. They could also sprinkle on some glitter before the paint dries to make them extra sparkly.
Enjoy!
Give each child:
1 paper plate
3 different colours of paint
3 cottonwool balls
1 A5 sheet of card
scrap of paper with bunny drawn on
1 craft jewel
Cut the bunny shape out of the scrap paper. Adult supervision required!
Fold the A5 card in half to make an A6 card.
Put the cut out bunny shape on top of the card using a bit of blu tack to hold it in place.
Load up the cottonwool balls with paint.
Dab the paint all over the card and around the bunny template. There is no pattern to follow, just use your creative flow to make a pattern that suits you.
Allow the paint to dry for a few minutes then peel away the bunny template. Using a marker, dot on two eyes and a little x for a mouth. Glue on the craft gem for the nose.
Write a Happy Easter message inside your card and post it to a loved one.
Have your little ones made this craft? We would be delighted to see the outcome.
Wishing you all a lovely Easter Break!
