We've been doing lots and lots of reading this summer break, so we thought we would make a super easy little book accessory to help keep track of where we are on our stories . . . that's right, we made bookmarks!

This activity is simplistic so it can be carried out by any child, no matter their age. The younger age group will love it as much as the older ones. The end result is a cute character bookmark which can be given as friendship gifts, or even made at parties as part of the fun activities.

For each child you will need: a lollipop stick, a 3d felt character sticker and four double sided sticky foam pads.

We used coloured lollipop sticks, but you can use plain ones and have the children decorate them.  Enjoy!

Step 3

Place your 3d foam character sticker ontop of the layered sticky foam pads.

That is your bookmark complete.
