Are we done yet...?

Are we done yet...?

Are we done yet...?

Ohhh you'll have to try for a girl now, I bet you's would love a wee girl? What if you's go again and it's another boy? Some people just have no boundaries when it comes to asking questions, am I right??

Well I happily answer them when I'm asked, (I'm quite outspoken some would say, not rude I'm just direct I think lol) this happens quite regularly now, those questions. Yip we would love a little girl to add some pink to our lives, my fave colour is blue which works well since I live in a house full of boys, so we would love a pink explosion. When/if we decide to 'try' for another, we will be 'trying' for a baby not a specific gender but yip we would absolutely love a little sister for the boys BUT should it be another little boy, a brother for the boys will we be disappointed HELL NO...Why would we, every child is a blessing.

Are we done yet...?

I'm one of those crazy women that despite worrying through most of it and having gestational diabetes both times I just love being pregnant, I love the feeling of life growing inside me, feeling their every move within me, the anticipation of labour and if it's going to be a baby girl or baby boy, I love the labour itself and I love giving birth. I am aware I sound mad but to me it's seriously like an addiction, I could do it over and over again, there is just no other feeling like it in the world...FACT!

I'm lucky enough to have fallen pregnant three times, unfortunately we lost our first baby at 10weeks though, which as much as I wanted that little baby and it broke our hearts it just wasn't meant to be, he/she was too precious for earth. I've obviously went on to have two quite straight forward (despite GD) pregnancies with both boys and when Peter and I talk about our family and how much we love our boys we just know 'we aren't done yet' we feel like a family of course but just not 'complete' as they say. I remember people telling me that before I had babies, they would say 'when your done and have completed your family you's will know' and they're totally right.

So yea incase any nana's, granda's, aunties, uncles or friends are reading this...You's may start thinking of your excuses now for when we need some time out...lmao!
Now we aren't saying we want another right away, cause I'm still adjusting to life with two kids 2 and under and we know we might not be lucky enough to have the blessing of another baby. If that's the case we are truly happy with our lot as it is, but yes for now as hard as the days can be, as scatty/disheveled as I am most days and I often feel I may lose my mind (don't we all, cause don't forget 'toddlers are dicks' see previous post on blog) I sure as heck would love 'to go again for a girl OR boy' because let's face it it's 50/50, we are gonna get one or the other.

Definitely not done....How could we be when we make such cute babies?
