This 5 day experience will be a rich and gentle immersion into mindfulness. Participants will be able to create a personal practice that is relevant to their own lives and the demands and busyness that come with that.
Our lives can pass us by when we get caught in our worrying, planning or doing minds. Over the week we will find realistic ways of integrating mindfulness into daily life. This doesn't necessarily mean sitting in meditation every day. Mindfulness is a way of living, a way of moving and being - a quality that we bring to our lives. It enhances, softens and helps us to face difficulty and adversity. It can lengthen and enrich the good times and make our communication with others more authentic and meaningful.
By the end of the 5 days participants will be able to choose from a variety of mindfulness recordings and practices that I will supply and create their own personal mindfulness practice.
There are two options for people who have to make it into work for 9 (7.30am-8.30am) and a slightly later option.(9am - 10am)
This week long immersion can be as light or as in-depth as you want it to be. I will be giving guidance on how to bring mindfulness to the rest of your day and lots of support throughout the week. The groups are small and the setting is warm and friendly.
