Preheat oven to 180 (170 fan assisted)
Heat butter, sugar and maple syrup in a pan
When melted add in porridge oats and rice krispies until well coated
Add all other ingredients (except those for decoration!)
Coat well with the syrupy goodness
Transfer mixture to the prepared baking tin
Put in oven for about 20 - 25 minutes
Once baked, let it cool in tin and leave it there for decorating
Keep flap jacks in the baking tin
Put 100 grams of chocolate into a microwavable bowl and heat on full power for 40 seconds. Remove from microwave and give it a stir. Heat again in the microwave on full power for 20 more seconds
Pour melted chocolate all over the flap jacks
Decorate with sprinkles, edible glitter, hundreds and thousands, coconut, marshmallow, orange peel - anything you wish!
