Furby connect

Hi guys. \r\n\r\nHas anyone had problems with a furby connect?\r\nMy little girl got one for her birthday in Feb from Tesco direct. It worked fine for a few weeks then middle of March it went off and didn't come back on. \r\n\r\nWe got a replacement furby at the end of March. Now the replacement furby is doing the same thing as the original one. Tesco have very kindly offered us another exchange which we will collect tonight. \r\n\r\nBasically the two furbys were working. Then they stopped. We changed batteries and they came on for roughly 20 seconds, went into sleep mode and never came back on again. We used brand new batteries out of pack, Duracell ones. We even tried the reset button. Nothing. It was kinda creepy looking with big blank black eyes lol. \r\n\r\nI am just wondering if anybody else has experienced this with their childs furby? Is it an ongoing issue? It's rather disappointing tbh as we paid almost £80 for it!!

Not even funny. Collected the replacement furby from my local tesco store, got it home, put brand new duracell batteries in. Waited a while before taking its wee eye mask off and boom! Doesn't work. Came on for 5 seconds and straight off again. Dead eyes. What am I doing wrong?

Okay, so after our 3rd furby replacement we have now sorted the problem out. Our furby only likes to work when we use ENERGISER RECHARGEABLES! Even though the box recommends duracell! oh the money we spent on duracell, poundland, generic and energiser batteries. nightmare!! so if you guys are having trouble with your Furby Connect, try the Energiser Rechargeable batteries.
